Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries related to our food service offerings, ensuring that they have a positive experience while adhering to food safety and handling standards.

Duties

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding food service and meal preparation.
  • Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Assist customers in placing orders and resolving any issues related to their orders.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of food safety regulations and ensure compliance during customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution that satisfies both the customer and the company.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our system.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this position.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
