Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables or bar seats with enthusiasm.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout your shift.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol service.
  • Engage with guests to enhance their experience, answer questions about menu items, and recommend popular choices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and resolve any service issues promptly.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS (Point of Sale) systems confidently.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Prior experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
  • A positive attitude combined with teamwork skills that contribute to a fun and efficient workplace.
