We are seeking a dedicated Indian Cook to join our culinary team in Edmonton. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all food is cooked properly, maintaining high standards of taste and presentation
• Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking ingredients and supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knowledge of North/ South Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques
• Experience with meal preparation and food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred and enthusiasm for learning is valued
• Food industry certifications or training related to food safety are a plus
