Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong Indian Cuisine background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a chef, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our guests' expectations while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu development, food presentation, cost management, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Manage food costs and budgets while maintaining quality standards in the kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance and teamwork.
  • Manage food preparation processes, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to ensure adequate stock for service.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
  • Implement food safety practices in accordance with local health regulations.

Skills

  • Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations.
  • Proven experience at least 3 years in the food industry, preferably in Indian restaurant or commercial kitchen set up.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests
  • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff.
