Full job description

The Thornhill Club is a private, 27 hole golf facility located in Thornhill, Ontario. Over the years, the club has become a family oriented facility with the addition of a full fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool. Golf is our main attraction and we pride ourselves in the maintenance of the beautiful golf course.

The Greens Department is seeking motivated individuals for the 2026 golf season to assist in providing quality playing conditions to our members and guests. You will work with our team, preparing the golf course on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

Mowing of tees, greens and fairways

Sodding projects and golf course improvements

Line trimming and rotary mowing of landscape areas

Bunker maintenance including raking and mowing surrounding areas

Divot maintenance on fairways

Work experience:

Previous work on a golf course or landscaping is beneficial, but not necessary.

We have an extensive training program

Requirements:

Ability to work early mornings (5:30 am)

Reliable transportation

Physically able to complete a wide variety of tasks

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Available for some weekends and holidays

Ability to work in inclement weather

Compensation:

part time or full time hours from April - November

Competitive wages
