About Us

Whole Education Academy is a licensed childcare centre located in Richmond, BC. We are committed to providing a warm, safe, and child-centered learning environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

We are currently seeking passionate, caring, and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to join our growing team.

Whether you are an experienced educator or a recent graduate looking to begin your career in early childhood education, we would love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate, and meaningful learning experiences;
  • Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development;
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment;
  • Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development;
  • Build positive relationships with children and families;
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality early learning programs;
  • Follow all licensing regulations, policies, and centre procedures.

Job Type

  • Full-time position: 35–37.5 hours per week

Salary

  • Starting from $30.00 per hour (including BC ECE Wage Enhancement)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate;
  • Valid First Aid Certification;
  • Clear Criminal Record Check;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Passion for working with young children.

Assets

  • Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting;
  • Knowledge of inquiry-based learning approaches;
  • Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an asset.
