Full job description

Comfort First Early Learning is a licensed facility in Ucluelet! We are looking for passionate ECE Assistants who strive to provide a comfortable and inspiring learning environment for the children while promoting positive and supportive relationships with their families. We offer 2 Group Childcare (0 - 36 month and 30 months to Kindergarten age) programs. We believe in sharing one another's strengths and creating a supportive and understanding working environment. We give the well-being and health of our staff a high priority. We operate year round with 6 weeks of closures through the winter, spring and summer.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in facilitating an Emergent curriculum
  • Demonstrate honest, respectful and tactful communication skills with all people who enter the facility with assistance from Educators
  • Sharing with the team new learning from your continuing education in Early Childhood Education
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for children
  • Prepping and providing balanced, and nutritious food for children

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
