Full job description

We are hiring for a BC Registered Early Childhood Educators to join our team. This is a full-time permanent positions working Monday - Friday:

  • Full-time in our 3-5 program

Early childhood educators plan, organize and implement programs for children between the ages of infancy and 5 years. Two years of experience working in a large daycare centre an asset. Working as a team, Early childhood educators and assistants lead children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being. The main duties include:

  • developing and implementing the child-care program
  • leading activities, both individual and as group activities
  • guiding and assisting children in their development
  • planning and maintaining an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of the children
  • establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with co-workers and parents

Requirements:

  • Valid BC License to Practice
  • Valid first aid/CPR certificate
  • Clear criminal record check
  • References
