EMC Eng Delegate (DAD/DAR) - Design Approval Representative/ Delegated Authority Designer

Must Have Skills : Aero/EMC/ DAD/DAR delegation

Position Summary

Acts as delegated authority (DAD/DAR) to approve and certify EMC compliance for aircraft systems.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
  • 8–10 years of aerospace EMC experience
  • Must hold or be eligible for DAD/DAR delegation
  • Experience in Part 25 certification programs
  • Strong EMI/EMC and regulatory knowledge
  • Experience with EMA3D preferred

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as Transport Canada Delegate (DAD/DAR)
  • Approve certification reports and compliance documents
  • Interpret and apply TCCA / FAA / EASA regulations
  • Lead EMC validation and compliance activities
  • Evaluate aircraft-level EMI integration
  • Guide engineering teams on certification requirements
  • Interface with regulatory authorities
  • Support certification planning and mentoring

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
