Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality products that meet strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative projects and manufacturing excellence.

Duties

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks.
  • Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join metal parts accurately according to specifications.
  • Use plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
  • Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely for material handling and positioning of heavy parts.
  • Measure materials precisely using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices; apply basic math skills for accurate fabrication.
  • Fabricate structural components, and custom assemblies for various projects in construction or manufacturing settings.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment, machinery, and hazardous materials; maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, or related manufacturing roles.
  • Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as press brakes, plasma cutters, cranes, forklifts, and schematics reading.
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques, assembly processes, and construction experience is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math for precise measurements.
  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices; certification in welding or related fields is a plus.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods; capable of lifting heavy materials safely; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
