Full job description

Proscapes has been locally owned and operated for over 11 years as one of the as one of the leading landscaping contractors in Winnipeg. We are currently looking to hire an EXPERIENCED TANDEM DUMP TRUCK DRIVERS TO START IMMEDIATELY.

Monday-Friday 10 hr Days with $75/day LOA

Starts immediately and fades in to summer season

Work is hauling material to Traverse Bay

Current work is hauling mud, gravel, and asphalt.

We offer competitive wages with benefits. Average 50+ hours per week April – November.

We require a successful candidate to:

  • Have experience with material hauling in tandem dump trucks
  • Ensuring that all maintenance is compiled on a daily basis
  • Must know the city well to be able to get around site to site.
  • Knowledge of hauling materials, mud, gravel, fill, asphalt etc
  • Have knowledge of safely being loaded and dumping on level ground
  • Drivers with the ability to drive standard will be given preference
  • Possess a valid clean driver’s license class 3 A or 1A and reliable transportation to and from our yard
  • Must have a Valid Drivers Abstract
  • MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE STANDARD

Successful candidates will have the interpersonal skills needed to take direction and coordinate their efforts with their crew and foremans, while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment. Successful candidates will also be able to maintain a *safety-minded* and *high accountability* work culture when working with their direct supervisors, and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.

*** Successful candidates must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment. ***
