Full job description
School of Rock Vancouver is expanding to Langley, and we are looking for talented, high-energy music instructors to join our growing team as we build our newest location! This is a unique opportunity to be part of launching a brand new School of Rock while while training with an award-winning School of Rock location recognized as a Top 10 school worldwide!
This role is ideal for musicians who love teaching, thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, and want to be part of something more than just weekly lessons. Our instructors play a key role in shaping student experiences, building confidence, and preparing students for real live performances as part of a band. We are especially interested in multi-instrumentalists, but we also welcome exceptional instructors who specialize in a single instrument and bring strong teaching ability and great energy.
ABOUT SCHOOL OF ROCK
School of Rock is one of the world’s leading performance-based music education program for kids, teens, and adults. Our programs combine private lessons with group rehearsals, culminating in real live performances on real stages. Students build musical skill, confidence, teamwork, and stage presence while learning everything from classic rock to modern hits.
In 2025, School of Rock Vancouver was recognized as one of the Top 10 schools worldwide out of more than 400 locations and received the prestigious School of Rock Headliner Award. The Headliner Award recognizes schools that demonstrate exceptional performance in enriching lives through performance-based music education, with exemplary achievement in school safety, utilization of the School of Rock Method™, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
As we expand to Langley, we are looking for instructors who want to help build on that momentum and contribute to the same level of excellence, culture, and community impact.
