We are looking for a skilled and dependable Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods, delivering exceptional service to our customers. You’ll play a key part in upholding our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction while operating within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Our distribution center operates with seven levels and requires a reliable driver who is comfortable navigating complex loading environments and is certified to operate various types of warehouse equipment. This role involves driving both straight trucks and sprinter vans, depending on delivery requirements. As a frontline representative, you will also act as a brand ambassador—positively representing our company at every customer touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving & Deliveries:

• Operate straight trucks and sprinter vans safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain detailed driving logs including mileage, delivery details, and hours of service.
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers.

Loading & Unloading:

• Load and unload freight using manual and powered equipment.
• Ensure products are handled with care and secured properly.
• Assist warehouse staff with material movement as required.

Warehouse Equipment Operation:

• Operate various material handling equipment, including:
• Reach Trucks
• Sit-down Counterbalance Forklifts
• Stand-on Pallet Riders
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report equipment issues.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all provincial and federal transportation laws.

Customer Service & Brand Representation:

• Represent the company in a professional, courteous, and customer-focused manner at all times.
• Be a brand ambassador, promoting our values and commitment to service excellence.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns efficiently and respectfully.

Qualifications:

Licensing & Certification:

• Valid Ontario DZ-class driver’s license.
• Experience with operating both straight trucks and sprinter vans.
• Valid forklift certifications for at least one of the following: reach truck, sit-down counterbalance, or stand-on pallet rider.

Experience & Skills:

• Proven track record in a delivery or transportation role.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional road networks.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules.
• Clear communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 65 lbs unassisted
• Ability to lift, push and pull over 65 lbs with assistance
• Able to perform work under changing temperatures

Application Requirements:

• Copy of valid driver’s license.
• Copy of a 3-year driver history report (MVR).
• Proof of at least 3 years of commercial driving experience operating a similar vehicle.
• Letter of experience (LOE) from a prior employer’s insurance carrier specifying the type of vehicle driven. Must have 3-year minimim LOE!
