Eastside Heavy Truck Collision Ltd. on Inskter blvd. specializes in collision and repairs on any type of truck, RV or other heavy duty vehicle. We have the equipment, technology and expertise to handle the repair or rebuild you require. Whether you need private or insurance repairs, industrial/commercial/recreation, city or highway coach, we have what it takes to bring you up to speed – including a full detail department with three commercial truck booths and aluminum and stainless polishing. Completing more than 900 repairs each year, we are committed to being Winnipeg’s leading truck repair provider. Eastside Heavy Truck Collision is MPI Accredited, CAA approved and a member of the ATA and MCVRA.

Currently, we have 24,000 square feet, over 25 experienced truck professionals, 3 commercial paint booths, a full detailing department, and a large inventory of used parts: all to support your collision needs.

POSITION SUMMARY

Eastside Heavy Truck Collision Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 3/Lot Attendant for our large parking and storage yard as well as our large compound. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the entire property, arranging vehicles, basic janitorial for the shop floor, assisting in compound traffic, boosting vehicles, moving vehicles and delivering vehicles to customers. Also, experience operating a forklift/bobcat is considered an asset.

The successful candidate for this position must be able to work effectively in a group environment as well as independently with little supervision, have a positive attitude, experience in the repair industry and an excellent work ethic.

This position is a full-time, hourly paid position, which enjoys many benefits, such as a Monday to Friday schedule, an amazing complement of employee benefits and deferred profit-sharing.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Driver/Lot Attendant will be required to move and organize vehicles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the property.
  • Boost vehicles.
  • Operate a forklift and a bobcat.
  • Fueling vehicles.
  • Perform various tasks inside and outside of the shop when needed.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must have a Class 3 Full Driver’s License.
  • Must be comfortable driving all sizes of vehicles in all situations.
  • Must be willing to work outside in all season conditions.
  • Must be willing to take care of property maintenance, including garbage pick up, cleaning, etc.
  • Must know how to boost a vehicle.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Must be able to provide an outstanding customer experience.

  • This position requires you to be outside for a majority of the shift.
