Overview
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Bus Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services. Duties

• Safely operate buses and other commercial vehicles according to traffic laws and company policies
• Transport passengers to designated locations such as schools, senior centers, or community events
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle interior and exterior
• Follow scheduled routes and adhere to time schedules to ensure punctuality
• Communicate effectively with passengers, staff, and dispatchers regarding route changes or delays
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Uphold safety protocols at all times, including proper use of safety equipment and adherence to traffic regulations
• Keep accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance needs

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred
• Experience working with children, seniors, or in customer service roles is a plus
• Multilingual skills in Spanish and English are highly desirable to serve diverse communities
• Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with passengers and team members
• Mechanical knowledge helpful for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and responsibility
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
• Prior teaching or caregiving experience is advantageous but not required
• Good writing skills for maintaining accurate logs and reports
