Sitka Spruce Daycare

Sitka Spruce Daycare is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class 4 Driver to support our Before and After School Care Program. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and providing safe, reliable transportation.

Job Details

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport children to and from school and daycare programs
  • Conduct routine vehicle safety checks
  • Ensure children are safely seated and supervised during transportation
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with children, families, and staff
  • Follow all traffic laws and daycare transportation policies

Qualifications

  • Valid BC Class 4 Driver's Licence
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Excellent driving record and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Experience working with children is an asset
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check

Schedule

  • Part-time hours
  • Morning and afternoon shifts during school days
