We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Transportation Driver Recruiter to recruit qualified AZ/Commercial drivers.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Driver Recruiter to join our growing transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting qualified AZ/Commercial Drivers for our LTL and FTL operations, managing candidates through the hiring process, and building a strong pipeline of reliable drivers. If you are a strong communicator, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have experience recruiting drivers, we want to hear from you. Holding A/Z Driver Licence can be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Recruit qualified AZ/Commercial Drivers for LTL and FTL operations.
- Post job openings on Indeed, social media, job boards, and other recruitment platforms.
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, databases, and direct outreach.
- Conduct telephone and in-person interviews and pre-screen candidates.
- Review driver experience, employment history, availability, and qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews, road tests, and hiring appointments.
- Collect required driver documentation and coordinate with the Safety Department for verification.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate the onboarding process.
- Schedule orientation and required training for newly hired drivers.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified driver candidates.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Work closely with HR, Safety, and Operations to meet driver hiring requirements.
- Meet weekly and monthly recruitment targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in driver recruitment, transportation, trucking, or logistics is preferred.
- Experience recruiting AZ/CDL drivers is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of LTL and FTL transportation operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interviewing and candidate-screening abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient with Indeed, Microsoft Office, and recruitment platforms.
- Professional, reliable, and results-oriented.
- Having AZ Driver License can be an asset.
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
