  • Identify and prospect new customers through outbound outreach and cold calling.
  • Build and manage an individual customer base over time, developing long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Take increasing ownership of customer relationships and sales activities as experience and product knowledge grow.
  • Proactively identify where help is needed and contribute beyond assigned responsibilities without waiting to be asked.

Qualifications
  • Entry-level or early-career candidate who is interested in developing a long-term career in logistics and sales.
  • Previous lumber industry experience is an asset but is not required.
  • Previous logistics, transportation, freight coordination, customer service, or related experience is an asset but not required.
  • No expectation of being a logistics expert; the company is prepared to train the right individual from the ground up.
  • High level of ethics, honesty, integrity, and reliability.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Strong attention to detail when handling shipment information, databases, and paperwork.
  • Organized and capable of keeping track of multiple shipments, priorities, and follow-ups simultaneously.
