Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Roll Off Truck Driver and take charge of safely operating heavy-duty roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste, recyclables, or other materials. This energetic role demands a proactive attitude, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting with precision. You’ll be the key player in ensuring efficient material collection and disposal, contributing to environmental sustainability and community cleanliness. Duties

  • Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up, transport, and drop off containers at various locations
  • Load and unload heavy containers using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
  • Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment
  • Assist with general yard work or container setup as needed to support operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy trucks
  • Proven experience driving large trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy objects regularly
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications related to waste management or safety are a plus
