We are currently looking for two Permanent Full-time Car Rental Agents to join our rentals team in our Whitehorse location.

Position Title: NOC 64100 - Retail Salespersons and Visual Merchandisers – Car Rental Agent

Positions Available: 2

Hours per week: 40

Hourly Rate: $21.00

Responsibilities:

· Warmly greets customers and handles phone calls, emails, and queries with professionalism and efficiency.

· Provide exceptional service throughout the rental process, from managing reservations, generating quotes for short-term rentals, finalizing rental agreements, processing payments, and completing necessary paperwork.

· Maintain consistent communication with customers, ensuring they are well-informed about rental terms and conditions before requesting signatures on all relevant documents.

· Conduct thorough walk-around inspections with customers, obtaining their authorization via signature.

· Perform daily checks on the drop box, process rental returns, evaluate the vehicle’s condition upon return, and offer recommendations for necessary maintenance if repairs are deemed necessary.

· Ensure vehicle availability and prepare rental units for delivery, including driving, cleaning, and fueling vehicles as needed.

Requirements:

· 1 year's retail customer service experience is preferred.

· High school diploma

· Experience in the automotive or rental industry is an asset.

· Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

· Strong computer skills and you know your way around Microsoft Office.

· You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.

· Abstract acceptable to The Driving Force Group of Companies Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.

· Clear pre-employment security clearance.

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task with keen attention to detail.
