Full job description

  • Operate Rig water Truck:
  • Drive and operate Rig Water truck to haul fresh water
  • Ensure proper connection and disconnection of hoses during loading and unloading.
  • Load and Unload Fluids:
  • Safely load and unload materials at customer sites or facilities using pumps, hoses, and valves.
  • Follow all company and customer procedures for containment, pressure, and product handling.
  • Conduct Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections:
  • Inspect vehicle systems including brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels.
  • Complete and submit vehicle condition reports as required.
  • Monitor Tank Levels and Gauging:
  • Use gauges and measurement tools to ensure accurate volume during loading and unloading.
  • Record measurements to maintain delivery accuracy.
  • Comply with Safety and Environmental Regulations:
  • Follow all safety protocols including the use of PPE and safe driving practices.
  • Respond appropriately to fluid spills or emergency situations.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
  • Complete tickets, bills of lading, and regulatory paperwork.
  • Communicate with Drilling Consultant and Rig Crew
  • Maintain regular contact with rig crew for scheduling and instructions.
  • Interact professionally with clients at delivery or pickup sites.
  • Basic Maintenance and Cleanliness
  • Perform light maintenance such as fluid top-ups, greasing components or tightening connections.
  • Follow Route Plans:
  • Navigate efficiently to job sites or drop-off points.
  • Adhere to road restrictions and heavy haul routes when applicable.
  • Emergency Preparedness:
  • Be prepared to act in the event of an accident, leak, or hazardous material exposure.
  • Know how to use fire extinguishers, spill kits, and emergency shut offs.

Relevant Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or above.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a tank truck hauling hot fluids
  • Having a valid class 3 driver license with clean abstract.
  • .Previous rig experience a definite asset
  • Good Hygiene in the truck and camp
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to effectively convey directions, guidance and information.
  • Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada.
  • A commitment to safety practices within the workplace.

Onboarding Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver's License

  • WHIMIS
  • CSO
  • Previous rig experience an asset

Pay: $375.00-$450.00 per day

Flexible language requirement:

  • French not required
