The position suits a high energy, proactive team player with the ability to develop proposal and working drawings in a fast-paced environment. Sharing our commitment to project quality and client satisfaction in a design-build atmosphere, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment with guidance from senior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Architectural designing, drafting/detailing including but not limited to:
    • Preparation and production of Architectural and/or structural based drawings such as:
      • Architectural Site Plans
      • Architectural Floor Plans, Reflective Ceiling, Roof Plans and details
      • Building cross-sections and details
      • Room, Door and Window Schedules
      • Steel roof framing plans, Wall framing elevations
      • Foundation plans
    • Coordinate any revisions/mark-ups of working drawings.
    • Liaison with sales, estimating, and project management departments, as required for the purpose of preparing working drawings.

Skill Requirements

  • Successful applicant will have minimum 1- 5 years’ experience.
  • Strong organizational and communications skills.
  • Strong construction techniques and practices knowledge would be considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of the O.B.C. would be considered an asset.
  • Must have high knowledge and skills with drawing application programs in AutoCad and/or Architectural Desktop. Knowledge of other software such as Outlook, Word and Excel
