Full job description

  • Arriving at scheduled appointments at customer locations within an agreed-upon window of time (example: first job arrival between 8 – 10am, 2nd job between 11:00 – 2:00 etc.). Windows depend on the scope of work scheduled throughout the day.
  • Once arrived at customer location, Templater is expected to measure (or “template”) with a digital laser machine, in conjunction with the job specifications written on a completed sales order by the salesperson. Examples of applications include kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity tops, fireplace surrounds, Jacuzzi tub decks, shower seats, thresholds, etc.
  • Once the template is completed at the customer's home, digital files need to be created for CNC equipment.
  • Work orders (or production specification orders) are then completed by the Templater, noting all required measurements, polished edges, cutouts (sinks, cook tops, faucet holes), plus radiuses in the tops and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the job.
  • Any unconfirmed information about the job (such as missing faucet specs, missing cooktop specs, etc) is the responsibility of the Templater along with the salesperson to find out any missing information in order to complete the work order and template.
  • During the templating appointment, it is often necessary to provide critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation processes. Professionalism is absolutely critical!
  • Templater is expected to communicate any relevant information about the job to the salesperson, Operations staff or Production staff on a timely basis.
  • All work orders and their completed templates are expected to be handed into the office no later than 24-48 hours from the time of templating.

NOTE: CNC Operation skills are a plus.

Pay: $61,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

  • Stone Surface Industry: 3 years (preferred)
