Since 1973, the Century Plaza Hotel has welcomed guests with exceptional service, spacious accommodations, and outstanding value in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. We take pride in creating a comfortable and memorable experience for every guest, supported by a dedicated team that values professionalism, reliability, and teamwork.

We are currently seeking dependable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Personnel to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong handyman abilities and basic plumbing experience who enjoys solving problems and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Schedule

  • Thursday through Monday
  • 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing fixtures, including faucets and toilets
  • Identify maintenance issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure guest rooms and common areas are maintained to high standards
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with plumbing fixtures and repairs
  • Good experience with basic handyman-type skills
  • Experience using standard maintenance tools and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Reliable, efficient, and detail-oriented
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members
  • Respectful of guest privacy and confidentiality
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Must reside in the BC Lower Mainland (applications from outside the region will not be considered)
