Fox On John is seeking a hardworking individual for the position of Bartender.

Fox On John is a neighborhood restaurant celebrating classic British fusion cuisine. The menu evokes feelings of nostalgia and timeless comfort in a warm and familiar space; showcasing the best of bold British cuisine with refined classics and indulgent signatures. Fox On John provokes a feeling of intimacy as an extension of the family home with a versatile function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant
  • Complete all bartender duties when necessary
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar
  • Assist with beverage procurement, beverage costing
  • Prepare beverages, accurately to recipe specs, and mix and match ingredients in innovative ways
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services
  • Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending of drinks in line with AGCO legislations
  • Monitor bar opening and closing duties
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Maintain Healthy and Safety standards of the Bar
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships
