Our premises are within the Purdy's Wharf complex which provides amenities such as an on-site daycare and a fitness centre. Our office is connected to the downtown pedway system and situated on Halifax's beautiful waterfront providing easy access to ferry and bus transit hubs, banks, restaurants, and shopping.

The opportunity

We are seeking to fill an Internal Services Associate position within our Pension Division. In this role your work will include pension records administration, reception services, call management, and document imaging. Your multi-tasking skills provide you with the ability to switch focus quickly, while managing competing priorities and deadlines in our client-focused environment.

What you need to be successful

  • Successful completion of minimum one-year diploma or certificate in business, office or records administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a customer service environment, with responsibilities that include responding to inquiries, reception and general administration.
  • Proficiency in working with imaging software and scanning hardware.
  • Experience/knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software applications.
  • Knowledge of records administration and imaging best practices.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in support of a team environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, respecting confidentiality, along with strong organizational skills to be able to work under the pressure of work volumes.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).

Job Status: Permanent Full Time; unionized (NSGEU)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $2,025- $ 2,260 (bi-weekly)

Closing Date: June 24, 2026

Interviews: Tentatively scheduled for the week of July 7-July 13.
