Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional <PERSON> (Delivery Driver) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to customers, ensuring timely service and maintaining excellent customer relations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, communication, and customer satisfaction, with an emphasis on heavy lifting and warehouse experience. The Delivery Driver will play a vital role in supporting our logistics operations and ensuring the smooth flow of deliveries.

Duties

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations in a timely manner
  • Load and unload cargo using moving equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods
  • Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery times, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes

Experience

  • Prior experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving is preferred
  • Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus but not required; training may be provided
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Experience with moving equipment and handling inventory is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues effectively
  • Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving requirements
