Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Convenience Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to perform a variety of store duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with purchases.
  • Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, credit, lottery, and other transactions accurately.
  • Stock shelves, refill coolers, and rotate products.
  • Check product expiry dates and maintain proper product rotation.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and well-presented.
  • Receive deliveries and organize inventory in the stockroom.
  • Assist with pricing, labeling, and merchandising.
  • Follow food safety and store policies.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Help prevent theft and report any safety or security concerns.

Requirements

  • Previous retail or convenience store experience is an asset but not required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and honest.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts if required.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
