Who We Are:

Tenold Transportation is a flat deck carrier that has been operating in Canada for over 50 years. Being part of the Mullen Group, Tenold has infrastructure and assets to offer a wide range of transportation, cross dock, and warehousing solutions to its customers across Canada.

Position Overview:

The Warehouse & Administrative Associate supports customers by processing requests, answering questions, and responding to concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Process freight requests for assigned customers
  • Answer incoming calls for the terminal/region
  • Coordinate with operational team to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure accurate order rating and timely delivery
  • Make proactive sales calls to assigned accounts
  • Track and update order information
  • Perform inventory transactions and inventory management
  • Liaise with warehouse staff
  • Handle customs documents for immediate processing
  • Report customer complaints and pursue new account opportunities
  • Provide holiday coverage for other staff
  • Be courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive towards the customers
  • Ensure all drivers have appropriate PPE before loading or unloading
  • Move product manually if required, no lifting over 50 pounds.
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of warehousing and administrative experience in Trucking would be an asset
  • Experience in handling and processing inventory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Truckmate transportation software, knowledge of Oracle would be an asset
  • Understanding of transportation safety standards and regulations
  • Professional Email and Phone Etiquette
  • Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems
  • Comfortable working in an open team environment
  • General knowledge of safety standards and load securement for the transportation industry
  • Knowledge of axel weight restrictions for loading would be an asset
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English, demonstrating exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and external teams.
