CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support our residential construction team in Calgary. This role is ideal for an organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple priorities while working closely with internal teams, trade partners, and municipal contacts.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

· Prepare, submit, track, and follow up on permit applications to ensure timely approvals and project progression.

· Coordinate lot inspections and upload required documentation into Vista for City inspections.

· Communicate effectively with construction teams, trade partners, internal departments, and municipal stakeholders.

· Manage and maintain permit-related documentation, including floor plans, joist layouts, window schedules, Form A's, lateral support letters, tall wall details, soil bearing reports, and other required documents.

· Coordinate ANHW applications, ENMAX enrollments, ATCO Gas applications, and meter installations.

· Prepare and distribute weekly trade, construction, and management reports.

· Oversee showhome alarm system administration and coordination.

· Maintain accurate document control and provide administrative support to the Construction Department.

· Assist with additional duties and special projects as required to support construction operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Knowledge of and/or experience in new home residential construction is required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Experience with construction scheduling, project management, or construction management software is considered an asset.

· Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, trade partners, and external stakeholders.

· Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
