Asbestos Abatement Worker – Level 2

Job Summary
Division 2 Environmental Ltd is a well-established and growing commercial hazmat abatement company operating across Vancouver & Lower mainland.

We are currently seeking Level 2 Certified Asbestos Abatement Workers to join our professional field team.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos and lead abatement in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulation
• Follow all Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and site-specific safety plans
• Remove, bag, and label hazardous materials
• Load hazmat materials into rolling bins and transfer to disposal bins
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Complete decontamination procedures properly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Job Expectations

• Use company tools and equipment responsibly
• Wear proper PPE and work attire at all times
• Represent Division 2 Environmental professionally on-site
• Work safely, within your training and physical capabilities
• Read and follow daily work schedules and instructions
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, or injuries immediately
• Be reliable, punctual, and fit for work
• Work effectively as part of a team

Required Qualifications

• Asbestos Abatement Level 2 Certification (Required)
• Basic PPE required: hard hat, steel-toed boots, hi-vis vest
• (All specialized PPE provided by the company)

Compensation & Benefits

$23–$27/hour (based on experience and certification)

Full-time, year-round work
