Full job description

Colin's Ice Age Mechanical is searching for a driven, motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating various software and email. Experience with Quickbooks Online and M-Help Desk would be considered an asset.

This position is responsible for managing our maintenance department and acting as dispatch backup.

Duties Include:

  • Maintain/enter preventive maintenance contracts
  • Reporting any repairs that require quotation to the service department manager
  • Planning work loads for the maintenance technicians surrounding various service calls
  • Answering customer phone calls
  • Working with various department heads
  • Arranging sub-contractors to jobs
  • Reviewing completed work orders for invoicing
  • Assisting with invoicing concerns with work orders as required
  • Maintain the job board of scheduled projects
  • Various Administrative Tasks
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Required skills

  • Experience working in a busy office
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to determine best course of action in scheduling technicians to maintenance calls
  • Ability to read technician's service reports and determine if further repairs or return visits are required
  • Mechanical aptitude/experience
  • Computer experience
  • Self starter

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
