Full job description

The Role


We are seeking an organized Fleet Safety Administrator to support our warehouse and transportation divisions. You will act as a key liaison between Dispatch, Drivers, Shop Personnel, and HR to ensure seamless fleet operations, strict regulatory compliance, and a strong workplace safety culture.

Key Responsibilities


  • Fleet & Equipment Management:
    Maintain audit-ready compliance and maintenance records, coordinate vehicle repairs and inspections, monitor telematics systems, and process fleet invoices/purchase orders.

  • Safety Administration: Support the Health & Safety Program by tracking safety training and certifications, coordinating safety meetings and workplace inspections, and reporting on safety metrics.

  • General Administration: Assist management with confidential record-keeping, report preparation, and cross-departmental communication.

Key Qualifications


  • Education & Experience:
    Certificate/Diploma in Business, Logistics, HR, Health & Safety, or related field; 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet administration preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with fleet management software/telematics.

  • Licensing: Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements


  • Schedule:
    Full-time, Monday to Friday (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) in an office environment with occasional off-site travel.

  • Physical Demands: Extended periods of desk/computer work combined with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional exposure to shop/yard environments (PPE and safety training provided).
