Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic culinary team, ensuring high-quality meal service and customer satisfaction. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment
  • Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Support the team during busy service periods to ensure efficient meal delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to uphold high standards of food quality and safety

Requirements

  • Available to work on Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Statutory Holidays
  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
