Full job description

Victoria, BC Position

AFTER SCHOOL HOURS (3:00-6:00pm)

Qualifications:

  • Must be 19 years or older
  • Clearance from a criminal record check
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a variety of age groups
  • Enrollment in or degree from a post secondary program of Psychology, Educational Psychology, Special Education or another related field is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder specific coursework, training or workshops an asset, but not a requirement
  • Experience working with clients who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities

Requirements:

  • Must provide a copy of a current criminal record check
  • Consistent availability is required
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Willing to travel in Greater Victoria
  • A passion to work with children

We reduce challenging behaviour by identifying the function and teaching appropriate alternatives. Our services range from Applied Behaviour Analysis,, to academic tutoring, to feeding therapies.

We provide services on Vancouver Island, BC.
