Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to support families by providing attentive and nurturing care for children in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes the child's well-being, development, and happiness. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while fostering a warm and trusting relationship with families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages in a home environment
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
  • Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space, including regular cleaning of toys, play areas, and children's belongings
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care as needed
  • Foster positive behavior through teaching patience, manners, and conflict resolution skills
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress, activities, and any concerns

Requirements

  • Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers
  • Ability to cook nutritious meals and prepare snacks suitable for children
  • Knowledge of caregiving best practices and child safety protocols
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with families
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
  • Strong cleaning skills to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Teaching or educational experience is desirable but not required
  • Valid background check and ability to pass any necessary screening processes
