REQUIREMENTS:

· Education - Completed related Degree and/or Diploma (DSW; CYC; SSW; REC & LEISURE)

· Five years related experience and/or training, including supervisory experience

· Demonstrated data management skills for program maintenance and presentation to the Behaviour Therapist

· Ability to think ethically and professionally and to clearly communicate different perspectives and rationale for decision making

· Demonstrated ability to supervise and /or coach in a collaborative and supportive manner

· Demonstrated working knowledge of Compliance Standards and requirements

· Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of CLNH’s Collective Agreement

· Demonstrated knowledge and involvement in Residential and Day Support Services

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities

· Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to be highly flexible in a fast-paced environment with competing demands

· Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings and weekends and to participate in the Scheduling ON CALL rotation

· Ability to positively represent individuals and the Association in the community

· Experience with planning and leading recreational activities.

· Ability to coordinate across multiple programs and teams to create common goals

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Orient, coach and provide leadership to staff teams and mentoring groups to deliver quality supports to individuals on site

· Facilitate staff meetings and planning for individuals

· Act as a liaison to families and community partners, communicate and participate in program development

· Provide on-site supervision and modelling to maintain program integrity, implementation and compliance

· Maintain monthly auditing procedure that meets policy mandates

· Coordinate with management team for participation and attendance at agency sponsored activities

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week; days and evenings
