Our Behavioural Services team works collaboratively with clients, families, staff, and community professionals to develop practical, person-centred behaviour supports that promote safety, independence, and quality of life.

Role Summary

As a Behavioural Services Coordinator (Team Coordinator), you’ll play an important role in supporting behaviour intervention planning, staff education, and best practices in alignment with accreditation standards across the organization. What You’ll Do

  • Support the development, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing review of Planned Procedures and other behavioural support documentation
  • Coordinate documentation to ensure timelines and agency standards are consistently met
  • Attend Restrictive Procedures Advisory Committee (RPAC) meetings and complete meeting minutes
  • Chair RPAC meetings in the absence of the Client Behavioural Services Consultant
  • Assist in delivering behavioural support training and education for employees
  • Participate in planning meetings to provide behavioural support recommendations
  • Collaborate with Behaviour Consultants, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other community professionals
  • Promote compliance with agency policies, industry standards, and applicable legislation
  • Support risk assessment, risk mitigation, and ongoing evaluation of client supports
  • Utilize agency software to maintain client, employee, and service delivery information
  • Promote ethical practice, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Community Rehabilitation, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field
  • Training in Proactive Behaviour Intervention, Behaviour Management, or a related behavioural support model
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs
  • Experience implementing Behaviour Intervention Plans is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with CET Standards is considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic documentation
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-focused in challenging situations
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed within the past six months
