Director of Pre-Owned Operations

Wilson Chevrolet Buick GMC & Wilson Ford Ltd

Wilson Chevrolet Buick GMC and Wilson Ford are seeking an experienced and driven Pre-Owned Vehicle Director to oversee and manage the pre-owned vehicle inventory across both dealerships. This is a key leadership role responsible for inventory strategy, profitability, and overall performance of our pre-owned operations.

We are looking for a seasoned automotive professional who understands market trends, vehicle valuation, and inventory management, and who can lead with confidence while maintaining strong team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage pre-owned vehicle inventory for both Wilson Chevrolet and Wilson Ford
  • Develop and implement pre-owned inventory acquisition and pricing strategies
  • Monitor market trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly
  • Work closely with sales managers and dealership leadership
  • Ensure optimal vehicle turn rates and profitability
  • Maintain strong relationships with auction partners and vendors
  • Provide leadership and support to the sales team
  • Deliver exceptional customer service standards
  • Team building
  • Retail and wholesale appraisals

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Proven experience in pre-owned vehicle management or related leadership role
  • Strong understanding of Chevrolet, GM, Buick, and Ford brands (considered a strong asset)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Bilingual in English and French considered an asset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary plus profit sharing $60,000 – $150,000 annually, based on experience
