A growing seniors' living community in the Fraser Valley is seeking an experienced Director of Care to join its leadership team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Care provides strategic and operational leadership for clinical services, quality programs, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care.

This role offers the opportunity to influence resident outcomes, lead quality initiatives, mentor clinical teams, and contribute to the overall success of a respected senior living community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for nursing and clinical care services
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and professional practice standards
  • Lead quality improvement, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives
  • Partner with physicians, allied health professionals, residents, and families
  • Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and care conferences
  • Monitor quality indicators and clinical outcomes
  • Support budgeting, staffing, and resource planning
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence
  • Act as a key member of the senior leadership team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current practicing registration with BCCNM
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
  • Experience in long-term care, assisted living, retirement living, or related seniors' care environments
  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement, accreditation, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
