The Studio Lead, Production is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the in-house creative studio, supporting the successful execution of eCommerce photography, seasonal campaigns, and brand storytelling productions across both on-model and off-model shoots. This role serves as the operational center point between Creative, Brand, Marketing, Merchandising, and Studio teams, ensuring seamless production workflows, efficient resource planning, clear communication, and scalable studio operations.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized production professional with experience operating within fast-paced retail or eCommerce environments. They bring strong production expertise, operational leadership, and process-driven thinking. They have the ability to build structure and efficiency within a fast-paced, high-volume retail creative environment.

Key Responsibilities → How You’ll Make an Impact
Studio & Production Operations
- Manage the day-to-day coordination & operations of the internal creative studio
- Oversee studio production calendars across eCommerce and campaign shoots
- Coordinate production schedules, timelines, and workflow priorities to support business needs
- Ensure studio readiness and support the smooth execution of all productions
- Coordinate internal and external production resources including freelancers, talent, stylists, and vendors
- Partner with Creative, Brand, and Marketing teams to support seasonal launches and campaign execution
- Monitor production timelines and communicate scheduling updates to key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve studio organization, communication, and workflow efficiency
- Oversee end-to-end production management for on-model and off-model photography productions
- Produce and manage seasonal hero campaigns and key brand storytelling shoots
- Manage external vendors, freelance crews, talent coordination, and production partners as needed
- Deep understanding of image rights management and global usage negotiations, including talent, photographer, influencer, agency, and creative partner agreements, with the ability to optimize content investment and maximize asset longevity across owned, paid, retail, wholesale, partner, and third-party channels while ensuring compliance with licensing and contractual obligations.
- Support production budget tracking, forecasting, and cost management
- Ensure productions are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand standards
- Anticipate and mitigate production risks, scheduling conflicts, and operational bottlenecks
- Support studio resource planning and production scheduling across multiple workstreams
- Balance competing priorities across eCommerce, campaigns, and marketing initiatives
- Maintain visibility across production timelines, deliverables, and studio capacity
- Assist in refining studio workflows, production processes, and operational best practices
- Facilitate clear cross-functional communication between Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, and Studio teams
- Provide leadership and direction to studio support teams and freelance production staff
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented, and agile studio culture
- Act as a key liaison between Creative Direction, Brand, Marketing Operations, Merchandising, and Studio teams
- Champion continuous improvement through forward-thinking studio processes, communication standards, and operational efficiencies
- 4–6+ years of experience in creative production, studio management, or production coordination within retail, fashion, eCommerce, or creative environments
- Strong understanding of eCommerce photography workflows and campaign production processes
- Experience managing high-volume production calendars and multiple concurrent projects
- Previous experience leading or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with production tracking tools, workflow management systems, and resource planning platforms
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
- Retail or fashion industry experience preferred
