Director of Finance - Mississauga - $170 to 185K base + Bonus + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support strategic planning, operational performance reviews, and leadership decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members while supporting workforce planning, training initiatives, and employee growth.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting obligations, regulatory requirements, lender agreements, and other statutory filing requirements.
  • Coordinate year-end financial review activities and act as the primary liaison for external auditors and advisors.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes, internal controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage the organization's accounting operations, ensuring established procedures and controls are maintained and enhanced where appropriate.
  • Maintain safeguards and oversight of organizational resources, including financial records, receivables, inventory, cash, equipment, and other business assets.
  • Ensure the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
  • Significant accounting and finance experience, including people leadership.
  • Strong financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Experience working in a complex operational environment.
  • Advanced systems proficiency and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, lead teams, and drive results.

Pay: $170,000.00-$185,000.00 per year
