Full job description

We’re looking for a warm, upbeat, and enthusiastic Support Worker to spend time with a fantastic young adult male with autism.

We want to add a member to our small, family-like team. This position will be assisting a young adult male with autism in his daily life. If you have experience supporting someone neurodiverse, are genuine, and enjoy being active (especially sports!), this could be the perfect role for you.

What we’re looking for in a team member:

  • Friendly, patient, and full of positive energy
  • Experience supporting individuals that are neurodiverse.
  • Enjoys sports, being active, & having fun outdoors
  • Ability to be adaptable
  • Reliable and committed to making a positive difference

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hang out, build a positive friendship, and be a supportive presence
  • Being involved in sports and physical hobbies and activities
  • Provide one-on-one support tailored to his needs and preferences
  • Encourage independence and celebrate achievements
  • Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family or care teams

Other Requirements:

  • Able to commute to the Northshore
  • BC Class 5 driver’s license
  • Access to a vehicle
  • A minimum of 1-2-year commitment

Availability:
