    • Your support will empower individuals to engage in daily activities and foster community connections, all while encouraging independence.
    • Minimum two years direct support experience working in a residential or community setting.
    • Support work: 2 years (preferred).
    • 18 years of age or older.
    • Hiring decisions are made by our hiring managers and recruitment professionals.
    • -Physical ability to support people, some with limited mobility.
    • Provide supports as per the individual's care plan.
    • Provide immediate support in crisis situations and use de-escalation techniques to deal with behaviours.

Requirements:

  • Emergency First Aid Certificate and Adult CPR certification
  • No criminal record
  • Clean driving record
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination/Annual Boosters
  • Proof of Influenza Vaccination - Annual
  • Ability to follow medication administration protocols
  • Independent, able to work alone
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Caring and kind
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
