Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining quality standards
• Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Follow all hospitality protocols to create a positive guest experience
• Front of house cleaning and light food prep

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems preferred
• Strong customer service skills required
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes
• Experience in upselling menu items and providing guest services in the food industry is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Serving it right certificate. Can be attained upon hiring.
