Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Initiatives

Location: Downtown Toronto

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-departmental initiatives within a leading Canadian bank. This role is critical to the successful delivery of complex enterprise projects that span multiple business units, technology teams, compliance groups, and external partners.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, influential leader who excels at navigating organizational complexity, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, enterprise-wide initiatives spanning multiple departments including Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Business Lines
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and inter-departmental dependencies
  • Act as the primary point of contact between executive sponsors, business leaders, and delivery teams
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory, security, and risk requirements expected in a Canadian banking environment
  • Drive change management and stakeholder engagement to support adoption and business readiness
  • Maintain documentation, metrics, and reporting for project performance and outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of project management experience in large, complex organizations
  • Proven experience leading cross-departmental and enterprise-wide projects
  • Multi-Year project Experience
  • Project Budgets in excess of 10M+
  • Experience working in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence without authority and resolve conflicts between competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work-streams and delivery teams simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
