Videographer / Content Creator (On-Site Construction Project)

Location: Halifax, Nova ScotiaCompany: MTLI Group of CompaniesEmployment Type: Full-Time Contract (4 Months)Compensation: $18.00-$22.00 hourHours: 44 hours per week

About MTLI Group

MTLI Group is a leading industrial construction, warehouse automation, and material handling contractor operating across Canada and the United States. We work on large-scale warehouse, distribution centre, and industrial construction projects for some of North America’s largest companies.

We are looking for a motivated Videographer / Content Creator to join our team on a major project in Halifax. This is an exciting opportunity to build your portfolio while capturing a large industrial construction project from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality video and photography of daily site activities.
  • Film construction progress, equipment, crews, and completed work.
  • Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
  • Produce project recap videos and progress updates.
  • Interview team members and document project milestones.
  • Edit videos into professional marketing and promotional content.
  • Organize and maintain all project media files.
  • Work closely with project management and the marketing team.
  • Operate cameras, drones (if licensed), gimbals, microphones, and lighting equipment safely.
  • Follow all site safety requirements and PPE policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience with videography and photography.
  • Experience editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
  • Strong eye for storytelling, composition, and branding.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working on active industrial construction sites.
  • Reliable transportation to the Halifax project site.
  • Drone certification is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms is an asset.

What You’ll Receive

  • $18.00 per hour.
  • 44 hours per week with consistent full-time hours.
  • Four-month contract on a major industrial construction project.
