Full job description

Diamond Drill Helper - Seeking Skilled Newfoundland Oil & Gas Workers Ready to Come Home

Rally Drilling Services Inc. – Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, and other remote project sites

We’re looking for experienced workers from Newfoundland and Labrador who have spent years in the western oilpatch and are ready to bring that expertise back home. If you take pride in working safe, working hard, and delivering high‑quality results, we want to hear from you.

Whether your background is drilling, completions, maintenance, heavy equipment, safety, or field operations, your skills are valued here. This is an opportunity to build a strong career closer to home—without sacrificing the professionalism, pace, or standards you’re used to out west.

If you’re a dedicated NL worker with a solid oilfield background and a commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork, there’s a place for you here.”

About Rally Drilling Services

Rally Drilling Services Inc. is a leading Canadian diamond drilling company providing surface, underground, and heliportable drilling solutions across Atlantic Canada. We work in challenging and remote environments — and we take pride in delivering safe, efficient, and professional results for some of Canada’s top exploration and mining clients.

Because our projects move quickly and conditions can be demanding, Rally maintains a strong pipeline of qualified drill helpers ready to mobilize as opportunities arise. If you’re hardworking, reliable, and ready for a rewarding career in the drilling industry, we want you in our queue.

  • Perform daily maintenance checks and help identify mechanical issues.
  • Follow instructions and safety procedures under varying weather and terrain conditions.
  • Support site mobilization and demobilization, including loading and transporting supplies.

Qualifications

  • Previous field, construction, or mining experience is an asset, but not required—training is provided.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts in remote locations.
  • Valid driver’s licence (Class 5 or equivalent).
  • Safety certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, etc.) are considered an advantage.
  • Strong attitude toward teamwork, safety, and reliability.

What Rally Offers

  • Competitive wages and overtime pay.
  • Camp accommodations.
  • Training and career progression — helpers can advance to driller positions.
