Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cardiac Sonographer to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic cardiac imaging, helping physicians assess and diagnose heart conditions with precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Duties:

  • Graduate of an accredited educational program in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography
  • Current registration in good standing with CMRITO
  • Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with ARDMS and/or current registration as a Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) with Sonography Canada
  • Current BCLS
  • Adult cardiac ultrasound experience with contrast use is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of the cardiac anatomy, physiology and electrocardiography
  • Demonstrated excellence in providing patient focused care
  • Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Professional, cooperative, mature, reliable and responsible
  • Ability to be flexible as urgent situations arise
  • Experience with GE Vivid equipment an asset
  • Commitment to ongoing professional education and improvement

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
