Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Flooring Business Developer to expand our business in the commercial, insurance restoration, property management, and contractor sectors.

The successful candidate will identify and secure new business opportunities, build strong industry relationships, and maintain existing accounts to generate ongoing projects and repeat business. We are looking for someone with flooring industry experience who understands the market and can contribute to our continued growth.

Duties

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial, insurance restoration, property management, and contractor sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate repeat business.
• Proactively seek out upcoming flooring projects through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Work with clients to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate flooring solutions.
• Collaborate with internal sales, estimating, and installation teams to coordinate quotations and project opportunities.
• Follow up on leads, proposals, and active accounts to maximize sales opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
• Track business development activities, sales pipelines, and account growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in the flooring industry is strongly preferred, particularly in commercial flooring sales or business development.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
• Established relationships within the commercial, construction, property management, or insurance restoration industries are an asset.
• Strong knowledge of flooring products, applications, and installation processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client meetings and project sites.

Pay: $40,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
