Baker — Artisan Bakery (North York) $18–$23/hour to start, with room to grow

We are a growing artisan bakery in North York — sourdough, desserts, and pastries — looking for a detail-oriented baker to join our team. This is a hands-on production role with a real path to more responsibility as we expand.

We are building something, and we are excited about where it is headed. As we grow, roles evolve and new opportunities open up, so we are looking for someone who learns fast, adapts easily, and wants to grow with us. Hours can flex week to week, and we offer that flexibility in return.

You are a great fit if you:

  • Have sharp attention to detail and care about getting things right
  • Are genuinely curious about baking and want to master the craft
  • Pick things up quickly and remember them
  • Are personable and easy to work alongside
  • Are reliable and in it for the long haul

Some hands-on experience in a bakery, kitchen, or café is preferred. You do not need to be a seasoned baker, but you should be comfortable in a working kitchen. Baking or pastry training is an asset. Attitude and reliability matter most, and we will train the right person.

Day to day: mixing, shaping, proofing, baking, and helping with desserts and pastries, taking on more as you grow.
