Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to support multiple restaurant design and construction projects. The ideal candidate can independently manage projects from design development through construction documentation and site execution.

Duties

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple restaurant design projects, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and review layouts, renderings, construction drawings, details, and material selections.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal construction/procurement teams.
  • Support Building Permit drawings, revisions, and consultant coordination.
  • Conduct site visits and assist with resolving construction and design issues.
  • Help improve company design standards, drawing standards, material libraries, and design processes.
  • Support and mentor junior designers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in interior design, architectural design, or a related field.
  • Experience with commercial, retail, hospitality, or restaurant projects.
  • Strong construction drawing, technical coordination, and project management skills.
  • Experience with 3D rendering and visualization.
  • Ability to understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
  • Building Permit experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to conduct site visits.
  • Mandarin and English bilingual capability is preferred.

Pay: From $4,500.00 per month
